Overview of OSPAR's Regional Action Plan for Marine Birds

Action overview table

OSPAR’s Regional Action Plan on Marine Birds (RAP-Bird) contains 11 actions intended to achieve positive outcomes for marine birds in the OSPAR Maritime Area. Nine of these actions will be implemented as tasks of OSPAR’s North-East Atlantic Environment Strategy 2030 Implementation Plan. Another action will continue to implement the OSPAR Recommendations on Threatened and/or Declining bird species. The remaining action will implement an OSPAR Recommendation for reducing the bycatch of marine birds in the OSPAR Maritime Area, which was adopted as part of the development of this RAP-Bird.
